Taylor Swift’s ‘The Tortured Poets Department’ Earns Ninth Straight Week Atop Billboard 200

Taylor Swift‘s latest album, The Tortured Poets Department, has topped the Billboard 200 for a ninth straight week.

The surprise double album earned 126,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. in the June 13-20 tracking week, according to Luminate.

Among Swift’s albums, only 1989 and Fearless are ahead of TTPD in spending more weeks atop the list – both 11 weeks each.

With this, Swift extended her record as the solo artist with her albums spending most weeks – 78th career week – at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

Swift dropped her highly anticipated album via Republic Records on April 19, and within a few days, it became the top-selling album of 2024.

While the 31-track double album’s first volume features collaborations with Post Malone and the English indie rock band Florence and the Machine, the second volume contains 15 additional songs, four of which are previously announced physical bonus tracks.

TTPD is followed by Billie Eilish‘s Hit Me Hard and Soft at No. 2, Don Toliver‘s Hardstone Psycho at No. 3, Morgan Wallen‘s One Thing at a Time at No. 4, and $uicideboy$‘ New World Depression at No. 5 on the latest chart.

Four albums have made their debut in the top 10 of the chart dated June 29.
